Nicholas M. "Roxi" Olivo, of Danbury, died December 12th, 2018 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by family following a fall at home. Nicholas was born October 7, 1993, to Steven and Mary Lee Olivo of Danbury. Nicholas graduated from South Street School, St. Peter School, and Immaculate High School (Class of 2012) and attended Western Connecticut State University.
Surviving are parents Steven and Mary Lee Olivo, aunt and uncle Beth and Bill Katzing, of Danbury, uncle and aunt Peter and Sandra Olivo, of Bristol, Vermont, cousins Emiliano and Esteban Katzing, of Danbury, Seth Olivo, of Keene, New Hampshire, Aimee Hughes (Peter) of Marblehead, Massachusetts, and great uncles and aunts, Ron and Sue Naves, of Carmel, New York, Paul and Betty Naves, of Danbury, Mary Louise Russell, of Umatilla, Florida, Joan Adkins, of Lake City, Florida, and Zee Sawyer, of Tallahassee, Florida, along with numerous extended family. Nicholas was predeceased by loving Grandparents, Peter (Grandpop) and Anne (Nana) Olivo, of Danbury, and Gerald (Grampy) and Florence (Grammy) Naves, of Danbury.
Nicholas was an altar server at St. Peter Church in Danbury, a life-time member of the Danbury Railway Museum, and a volunteer and Youth Services Director at the Military Museum of Southern New England. Nicholas was an avid collector and favorite activities included model trains, studying World War II history and re-enacting World War Il battles all over the Northeast, Anime, Cosplay, computer games, and attending Connecticon.
There will be no calling hours. Private funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
