Patrick J. Chesto

Born March 4, 1951, went home June 17, 2022, 71 years old.

Survived by his wife Deborah Lynn Chesto, sister-Joann Chesto-Almeida, daughter- Candice Renee Chesto, Stepdaughter- Ariel Rose Ligowski and Stepson- Elijah John Ligowski. He also has four grandchildren through Candice: Aleksa Sotiro, Kylin Ciskey, Abella Barre and Anderson Barre.

Pat was brilliant in engineering. He was unable to go to college but was a welder, tool and die designer and managed the maintenance and building of machines at a powdered metal plant. He loved tinkering with design and making things. He created a computer game for his daughter Candice long before computer games were common.

His greatest passion was for music. He played about seven instruments, but mainly the guitar. He was in a couple of Rock and Roll bands growing up but then played country music which he loved the most when he got older. His last band was Crossroads. They played all around the tri-state area. They were written up as one of the best bands in CT.

He passed peacefully in his sleep and now the Lord has a new incredible musician in heaven.

A memorial service for Pat will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Walnut Hill Community Church, 156 Walnut Hill Road, Bethel, CT.
