I went to Radiology School at Danbury Hospital with Paula from August 1978 through August 1980, and it was two of the best years of my life. No matter your mood, this woman could put a smile on your face any time. Trina Ledbetter (another fellow student) and I saw Paula through some tough times, but ultimately, nothing could keep this gal down. Although she was a full time Mom, a full time student, and struggling with what life throws your way....she still graduated with the highest GPA in our class. I have actually looked for Paula over the years on facebook, and other social media sites, but never was able to track her down. Again tonight, I typed Paula Gillotti in "find friends" on facebook, and was taken to an outside obituary. My heart sank when I saw 56 years old, and Danbury, couldn't have been anyone else. I cannot even begin to express how sad this makes me, and I can only imagine how hard this must be for her family. I will "always" have nothing but the fondest memories of Paula, and all the laughing we did together. She was, and is, a one of a kind. RIP Paula, aloha oe.
