Phillipe Duarte Silva

Phil lived a life defined by adventure, determination, laughter, and love. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain with us forever.

Phillipe was the beloved son of Edilaine Costa and Celio Silva. He was a cherished brother to Thiago Magalahes, Carol Silva, Julia Silva, and Lucas Costa. He also leaves behind countless family members, lifelong friends, and loved ones who were blessed to know him.

To know Phillipe was to know someone whose smile could light up any room. He had an infectious laugh, a magnetic personality, and a way of making everyone around him feel welcomed. He was loved deeply by so many, and had a gift for bringing people together. His adventurous spirit led him to embrace every opportunity life had to offer.

Some of Phillipe’s happiest moments were spent surrounded by nature—whether he was out on a boat at the lake, relaxing at the beach, riding dirt bikes, snowboarding with his friends, or riding quads through the snow. He had a passion for music, loved exploring new places, and dreamed of seeing as much of the world as possible.

Professionally, Phil was a licensed electrician who took great pride in his craft. Through hard work and dedication, he earned his electrician’s license and built a reputation for excellence while completing independent electrical contracts. His strong work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Most importantly, Phil believed in becoming the best version of himself. He was passionate about growing mentally, physically, and spiritually, and he encouraged those around him to pursue the same. He believed the people you surround yourself with should inspire you, challenge you, and align with your purpose. His drive, ambition, and positive outlook motivated so many and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Let his life remind us to chase our dreams, embrace every adventure, love without hesitation, and always strive to become a better person. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on in every life he touched. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Phillipe's family will receive visitors on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 3 - 6 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 3 at 10 am at Faith Church, 600 Danbury Rd., New Milford, CT followed by burial at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury.
