Rita is predeceased by her parents and her loving husband, Donald C. Butler Sr. Rita is also predeceased by her siblings, Elizabeth Adams, Dorothy Hayes, Dennis Christfield, and Daniel Hrouda.
Rita is survived by her son Donald Butler Jr. (Donna), granddaughters, Renee Carr (Erik) and Kellie Butler, and great-grandchildren, Cameron Carr and Ainsley Carr.
Visitation for Rita will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Green Funeral Home. Burial (private) will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Wooster Cemetery, Danbury.
