Robert Fand

Capt. Fand served in the US Army at Fort Hood, TX from 1964-1966. He established a medical practice in Danbury in 1966. He founded and lead the Independent Party of Connecticut for 40 yrs. Dr Fand was a past member of the Bethel Jaycees. He belonged to the American Legion and the Fairfield County Medical Society.

Dr. Fand leaves behind his wife of 48 yrs Suzanne and 6 children, Aaron, Dana, Joyce, Karen, Alison and Cynthia. Also 8 grandchildren Zachary, Joshua, Trevor, Avery, Jillian, Ellen, Isabela, and Marlee. Dr. Fand will be remembered as a caring physician and a strong advocate for conservative values.

There will be no calling hours or funeral at his request. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
