Robert J. Gueli

Throughout his life Robert served as President of the Ball Pond Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the New Fairfield Men's Softball League. He worked for the United State Post Office, Castle Oil and A&J Construction in Brookfield until his retirement in 2014. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family in Florida and Wildwood, NJ.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Angela (Farina) Gueli. He married Angela on April 18, 1964, embarking on a 55-year journey of love and commitment.

In addition to his wife, Robert leaves behind his four sons: Robert Gueli Jr.(Jeanine Gueli), Anthony Gueli, Chris Gueli (Kate Gueli), Michael Gueli (Heather Gueli); 8 grandchildren: Alyssa, Anthony, Marisa, Gianna, Jordan, Kendall, Silas, and Talon; two sibilings: Fran Zinzi (Ron Neumon) and Tommy Gueli (Lois Gueli) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronnie Gueli.

Robert's family will be accepting condolences on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Green Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Danbury Hospital, 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810, Attn: Donations-Praxair Cancer Center.
