Robert J. Pinella Sr.

Robert J. Pinella, Sr., of Bethel, beloved husband of Deborah (Lupino) Pinella, passed away peacefully at his home, on Friday, September 2, 2011. Robert was born in New York City, a son of Julius and Marie Pinella, of Yonkers, NY. He was a graduate of Mount St. Michael High School, Bronx, NY and he attended Iona College. He worked as a postal worker in White Plains, NY.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three sons: Robert J. Pinella, Jr., of Danbury and Adam J. Pinella and Richard J. Pinella, of Bethel, a brother Carl Pinella, of Yonkers, NY, his cousins, Joanne Labadia and Geraldine Hogan and sister and brother in law, Lorraine and Joseph Caruso and family, as well as many beloved family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Church, Bethel, on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
