Roberto “Bob” Audiffred was a man remembered for his devotion to family, his strong sense of honor, and his unmistakable laugh. Born in Puerto Rico on April 17, 1934, Bob built a life rooted in hard work and love. He spent many years as a machinist at Amphenol in Danbury, CT, where he was known for his skill, dedication, and pride in his craft. At home, he carried that same commitment into caring for his family and working with his hands on countless projects.
Bob had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. He enjoyed music, the sunshine, and caring for his many pet birds, which brought him joy over the years. A loyal New York Mets fan, he faithfully followed his team through every season. He also had a love for classic Chevrolet Corvettes.
Above all, Bob’s greatest joy was his family. He shared 42 years of marriage with his loving wife, Joanne Marie Reilly Audiffred. He was the proud father of four daughters: Jade Mikhael and spouse Jean-Pierre; Jessica Esposito and spouse John Esposito; Joanne Montalvo; and his late daughter, Jerilyn A. Pagan. He was also a stepfather to Jill Minoso. Bob was a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren, Andrea, Layla, John, Matteo, Daphne, and Naomi, and he leaves behind two beloved sisters, along with extended family and dear friends.
Bob’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, and laughter, and his memory will be carried forward by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St., Danbury, CT on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 2PM-5PM
