world with her presence and passed away at the age of 63. Robin departed from this life on
November 2nd, at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of Edna W.
(Curran) Lake and the late Charles E. G. Lake Sr.
Born on December 18th, 1959, Robin was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of
knowing her. Her professional life as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) was a testament to her
dedication to caring for others. With a nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment, she touched
the lives of numerous patients, providing comfort and care during their times of need.
However, Robin was not only a dedicated nurse; she was a dear friend to many. Her warm and
compassionate nature endeared her to all who crossed her path. She was a source of unwavering
support, a confidante, and a beacon of empathy to her friends. Her infectious laughter and
genuine interest in the well-being of others created a space of love and camaraderie wherever she
went.
Her life was more than her profession; she embraced various interests and hobbies, including
crocheting, spending time with her family and her many pets which she pursued with passion and
enthusiasm. Her zest for life and her ability to find joy in simple moments were qualities her
friends admired and cherished.
Robin is survived by her circle of friends and family who were fortunate to have been part of her life. She leaves behind her mother, Edna W. (Curran) Lake; her siblings: Charles E. G. Lake Jr., Douglas Lake and Gary Lake, as well as nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at the Green
Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at Wooster Cemetery (Sec. 23), Danbury, CT with the Rev. Samuel V. Scott, officiating.

Robin leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her impact and the love she shared with her friends
