Roger was born on June 15, 1936 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was the son of the late Harvey St. Pierre and Annette Bibeau St. Pierre.
He is survived by a daughter, Pamela St. Pierre, and a sister, Ryta Fofanoff. In addition, Roger had several nieces and nephews in Danbury and cousins from New Hampshire.
Roger attended Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Upon his graduation, his family moved to Danbury where he resided the rest of his life.
Roger proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division. He was honorably discharged in 1963. His strong sense of patriotism was well known to all who knew him.
Roger worked at Amphenol RF for over 30 years. Due to his great interest in and enjoyment of people he was also a beloved bartender at both the Amber Room and the VFW.
Roger was an avid sports fan who loved following his Boston teams. He also enjoyed the horse races.
He was a loyal member of both the Catholic War Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Danbury.
Roger was a loving father and uncle and a true friend to all.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10:00am on Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church, 181 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, with the Rev. Thomas J. Davis, Pastor, officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
Friends will be received from 4:00pm -7:00pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
