

Ronald C. Lincoln, 69, of Sandy Hook, CT died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Christine F. (Repole) Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln was born in Danbury on Feb. 16, 1942, a son of the late Herbert and Ruth Starr Lincoln. He attended New Fairfield schools and was a 1961 graduate of Danbury High School. Mr. Lincoln served with the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. An active longtime member of Teamster’s Local 677, he retired 10 years ago. He was a passionate cook, husband, dad, grandfather, UCONN basketball and NASCAR fan.
Besides his wife of 45 years, survivors include his daughters: Cassie Lincoln Smith and her husband, Michael, of Sherborn, MA and Kari Pesavento and her husband, Scott, of Milford, CT. His loving grandchildren: Ella and Whitney Smith and Brayden Pesavento. His sister: Barbara Moissonnier of Danbury. He will be especially missed by his beloved Labrador, Bella.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
