Rosemarie A. Abramo

Rosemarie A. Abramo, age 84, of Danbury, CT, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of June 7, 2026, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glen Hill, Danbury, CT. Rosemarie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony S. Abramo.

Rosemarie was born in Newark, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Michael Manes and Mary (Musacchio) Manes Barbera. Rosemarie moved to Danbury in 1953 and was a graduate of Danbury High School. Rosemarie worked for Davis and Geck as a Quality Control Inspector for over 30 years.

Rosemarie always maintained an impeccable appearance, whether driving thru Dairy Town or out on the town. She was a warm and compassionate woman who took great pride in caring for her home and her family. Family was always the center of Rosemarie’s life. She was devoted to those she loved, and especially enjoyed gathering together with family and friends, both outdoors around her pool and indoors celebrating many holidays and special family occasions.

Rosemarie’s gentle spirit, steady presence and boundless love, especially for her family, and her many friends, will be remembered with deep affection.

Rosemarie is survived by her daughter, Linda (Robert Pennell); her son, Tony Jr; her sister, Josephine (Dino Potenziani) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. A private burial service will take place at a time to be determined by the family.
