Ruth Cecilia Flynn

Ruth was born August 26, 1924 in Danbury, the youngest of seven children of the late Michael and Margaret (Hynes) Barrett. Ruth was a lifelong faithful member of Saint Peter Church, Danbury.

Ruth dedicated her life to her six children, nine grandchildren and great grandson. She will be missed by her sons Robert M. Flynn and his wife Carolyn, Michael R. Flynn, and her daughters Mary E. Flynn, Nancy Kennedy and her husband Kevin, Patricia DiCastro and her husband Kevin. Ruth continued her dedication to her grandchildren: Michael, Sean, Jason, Christina, David, Kyle, Molly, Aaron, Olivia, and great grandson Robert Sean. Ruth was predeceased by her daughter Kathleen C. Flynn.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 27th at 10:30am in Saint Peter Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
