Sofia P. Antonio, 88, of Palm Coast, Florida, formerly of Danbury, CT passed away on Aug. 22, 2026. She was the wife of the late Afonso Luiz Antonio.

Survivors include her daughters: Susan M. (Luis) Pereira of Brookfield and Elizabeth M. (Lauro) Cabral of Palm Coast, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 149 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT.

Friends will be received from 9:30am - 10:30am on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main ST., Danbury, CT.
