Born in Portchester, New York, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Frank and Michaleina Snyder. A dedicated resident of Danbury, CT, Susan devoted her career to serving others as a certified nurse's aide in the healthcare sector.
Our beloved “Aunt Susu”, as Ellie called you! You always lit up a room anywhere you went. Your beautiful smile and loving attitude brought life and zest to every gathering. Having fun was at the top of your list no matter what the situation, and always had a smile and loving energy for your great niece, Elisia and her sister Eva.
In the early days when you arrived to Danbury you were determined to complete your HHA certification and endured the winter months taking train everyday from Brewster to White Plains and walking to the school in freezing, frigid cold. We were very proud of your accomplishment, and later of your completion of CNA classes in Danbury. In your profession, your loving spirt and determination touched many lives.
Your big beautiful smile and zest for life will be remembered by everyone you came in contact with and especially our dear Elisia and Eva, and all your Snyder nieces and nephews.
Aunt Sue, you can now rest in Peace with your dear Massimo, your Sister Carol, and Mom and Dad. May your memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew you. God Bless you. Amen.
She is survived by her three cherished brothers, Steven Snyder of Danbury, CT, William Snyder of Mamaroneck, NY, and Frank Snyder Jr of Croton-On-Hudson, NY. Susan will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the compassionate care of Green Funeral Home, located at 57 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06810.
