Teresa A. Travoska

Teresa was born in Danbury, CT, the daughter of the late Michael and Janet (Lacovara) Travoska. She attended St. Joseph’s School in Danbury and was a 1964 graduate of Danbury High School. Teresa received a BA Degree and a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Connecticut State College. Teresa taught at Great Plain School until her retirement.

Teresa will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her cousins, Cathy Fischer of Glastonbury, CT, Leo Macko of Little River, SC, Margaret DeSantis of Kennebunkport, ME, Joan Macko of New Milford, CT, Diane Butler of Tacoma, WA, and Alex Correa of Little River, SC.

Teresa is known for her love of Notre Dame Football, Notre Dame Women's Basketball, and the Boston Red Sox. She went to South Bend, Indiana to see a Notre Dame Football game and toured the campus. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods Casino, Cape Cod, Maine, Italy, and France. Her one passion on her bucket list was to go Paris, France where she celebrated her 70th Birthday.

She was a kind, caring and wonderful person. She enjoyed going to lunch and dinner with family and friends, enjoying her favorite meals, eggplant parmesan and pizza.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will take place at St. Peter Cemetery, Section 19, 71 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury, CT at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
