Theresa S. Blank

Theresa S. Blank, 83, of New Fairfield, passed away on May 5, 2024, in Danbury, CT. Theresa was born in the Bronx, NY to John Unger and Anna (Groeller) Unger on April 8, 1941. She went to school at PS 3 , Bronx, NY. She graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan, NY in 1958. She married Martin R. Blank on June 18, 1960 at the Immaculate Conception Church on East 150th St. Bronx, NY. She worked as a medical secretary and an office manager for Danbury Eye Physicians and Surgeons for over 30 years.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Martin, her sister MaryAnn Schwarz and her husband Hans, her sister-in-law Loretta Ifkovits and her husband Ed, and her nephew John Jandrasits.

She is survived by her sons Martin J. Blank, Richard P. Blank and his wife Monica, her daughter Kristy L. Davenport and her husband Peter, Sr., her sister Helen Jandrasits, brother-in-law Robert Blank and his wife Dianne. Grandchildren: Fr. Nicolas Blank, Klarissa Blank, Peter Blank and his wife Bridget, Peter Davenport, Jr., Michael Davenport, Richard Blank and his wife Danielle, Martha Bratt and her husband Sam, Michael Blank, Theresa Davenport, Gabriel Blank, Maria Blank, and Raphael Blank. Great-Grandchildren: Zelie, Frances, Charlie, Alfred, Bernadette, and 2 more on the way. Theresa is also survived by her very near and dear nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, CT.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, May 10, 2024 11:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd, New Fairfield, CT.

Committal services will follow Friday, May 10, 2024 at Mountain View Cemetery, CT-37, New Fairfield, CT.
