It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Victor Luis also known as BlessedByVic, a man whose presence filled our lives with joy, warmth, and unwavering love. Words will never be enough to capture even a fraction of what he meant to our family, but we honor him with the deepest gratitude for the beautiful life he lived.
Victor was born in Peru and immigrated to the United States at the age of five. He adapted quickly to his new home, embracing childhood with curiosity and joy. He loved video games, excelled in art, and carried a natural talent that amazed everyone around him. From a young age, he taught us the importance of freedom, hard work, and staying true to ourselves.
We came from humble beginnings, and Victor never forgot where he came from. His generosity was boundless—he always remembered family back home, often providing meals or support to those in need. His giving spirit extended to all of us; he was known for offering gifts so extravagant that we would lovingly argue with him about it.
Victor faced many challenges in life, yet he never gave up. He completed high school during a difficult period and went on to attend Ricci Academy, where he pursued his passion and became a barber. With determination and grit, he worked third‑shift jobs, saved every dollar, and bought an old car just so he could get to work and school. His perseverance was a testament to his strength.
Family was everything to Victor. He had a light within him that brightened every room he entered. His laughter was contagious, his smile constant, let's not forget about his sense of style, and his endless affection—especially towards our mother, whom he showered with kisses until she playfully protested. He loved food and was incredibly proud of Peruvian cuisine, always saying it was the best in the world.
Víctor’s upbringing shaped him into a man who deeply valued love, kindness, and forgiveness. He carried a strong desire to build a home filled with warmth and understanding, and he dreamed of creating a future rooted in compassion and connection for his family.
Recently, Victor found comfort and purpose in his faith. He began attending Mass on Sundays and embraced a deeper relationship with God. Despite his busy schedule as a barber, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and prepare for the arrival of his first baby. Every sacrifice, all the long hours, and effort was made with love and the hope of giving his child a safe, happy, and nurturing home.
Victor was passionate, loving, caring, and immensely talented. He was a son, a brother, a friend, soon to be father and a husband whose spirit will forever remain in our hearts. His legacy is one of a kind.
We will miss him more than words can express, but we will carry his light with us always.
