It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Virginia (Ginny) Morrell, who left us on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75.
Ginny was born in Stamford, CT on July 12, 1950, she was born to Anthony and Mary Aguire.
Ginny attended Stamford High where she met her husband Albert. Ginny and Albert moved to Danbury in 1990 to be closer to family.
Ginny had a gift for making a house feel like a home. Her kitchen was her happy place—whether she was cooking up a family meal, baking something sweet, or preparing treats to share with neighbors and friends. She poured love into everything she made, and no one ever left her table hungry.
Christmas was her favorite time of year. She found joy in decorating, baking holiday cookies, and creating traditions that brought the family together. Her warmth and excitement made the holidays sparkle in a way that only she could. When she wasn’t in the kitchen or preparing for the holidays, Ginny could often be found at the bingo hall, where she shared laughter, good luck charms, and friendships that meant the world to her.
She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her sense of humor, and the love she gave so freely to her family and friends.
Ginny was predeceased by her several brothers and sisters. Ginny is survived by her husband Albert Morrell of 48 years; children -Tracey Morrell Hull and her husband Jeff, Brook Morrell and Lee Morrell and her sista Kim Hamed who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
