Wanda was born in the Bronx, NY, a daughter of the late Angel Cintron and Antonia Laboy. She attended Dodge High School and graduated. Wanda went on to attend Bronx Community College, where she met Edwin and they fell in love.
Wanda worked for the Bronx Legal Aid Society as an assistant to attorneys for several years. After that, she worked for the Visiting Nurse Services as a Data Clerk Entry, where she retired in 1991.
She loved cooking, horror films, and spending time with family.
Wanda moved to Danbury with her family in 2009. She enjoyed getting to know Danbury and loved spending time at the mall with her husband.
Besides her husband of fifty years, Wanda was predeceased by a fraternal twin sister, Jasmine Cintron.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynette Rivera.
Friends will be received from 12:00pm - 4:00pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00pm on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Klein, officiating. Interment will be private.
