OBITUARY
William H. Moody
April 26, 1921 – April 1, 2013
William H. Moody passed away April 1, 2013 at the Lutheran Home, in Southbury with his loving wife Virginia at his side. He was 91 years old. William was born April 26, 1921 in Danbury, CT the son of the late Joseph and Carrie (Wood) Moody.
He served in the US Army during WWII, and was the owner of Moody’s Mail Service. Besides his wife of 65 years Virginia( Minck) Moody he is survived by three daughters, Melissa Pronovost and her husband Paul of Naples FL, Nancy Sasso and her husband Scott of Bethel, CT and Jennifer Bennett of Hampstead, NC, also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by one daughter Mary Elizabeth, two brothers and two sisters.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday April 26,2013 , 10 00 am at St Joseph Church, in Danbury interment will follow at St Peter Cemetery. Virginia I was sorry to read that Bill had passed away. One of my memories as a young kid growing up next door was always seeing Bill's mail van pull into your driveway every afternoon. My thoughts are with you, Nancy and Melissa.
