Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Hipolit and Anna (Wilk) Seferowicz, she was a longtime resident of Dartmouth.
Mrs. Souza was employed at various needlecraft shops in Fall River for several years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of the Dartmouth Senior Citizens Association.
Her family includes a daughter, Marianne Shahian of Huntington Beach, CA; a son, John E. Souza of Fall River; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren including Savannah who was closest to her heart. She was the mother of the late Arlene Gagnon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 8:30AM-10:30AM at the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM at St. George Church, 12 Highland Ave., Westport. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
