Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the beloved widow of William N. Perry of South Dartmouth.
Madeleine was a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, worked as an educator, and was an accomplished artist. She served as art supervisor in the Warren, RI school system in the 1950s and taught art from 1970-1990 at Western Hills Junior High School in Cranston, RI.
She was an avid gardener and historian for her local community of Bay View in South Dartmouth.
Madeleine is survived by her four children, Jacqueline Felber, Matthew Perry, David Perry, and Caroline Flaherty, as well as seven grandchildren, Katie Felber, Bryan Felber, Megan Flaherty, Kristen Flaherty, Kachine Perry, Mason Perry, and Denise Burrell.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25 at Waring Sullivan Funeral Home, Dartmouth, followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, January 26 at 10:30 am. Burial July 5, 2019 in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
