Born in Biddeford, Maine, a daughter of the late Laurent and Bertha (Chouinard) Carrier, she had resided in Dartmouth for most of her life.
She had received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sacred Heart College in Fall River.
Mrs. Pinho had worked for Dr. Lee F. Philips Oral Surgeon as a secretary and receptionist.
Peggy enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and writing, specifically letters.
Her family includes a brother, Guy Carrier and his wife Anna of Georgia; a sister, Julienne Laverriere and her husband Paul of Biddeford, Maine; a god-daughter, Stacy Amador and her children Benjamin and Isaiah of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Dartmouth St., Dartmouth. Burial will be in the South Dartmouth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
