

Marie E. (Vincent) Perry, age 69, of Dartmouth, was called home to her Lord on Wednesday January 19, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Henry D. Perry to whom she has been married for the past 51 years.
Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Querino and Pauline (Pinto) Vincent, she had been a resident of Dartmouth for the past 46 years.
Mrs. Perry attended New Bedford Schools and worked at Dartmouth Manor. She was an active member of the First Congregational Church at Lund’s Corner in New Bedford where she was a deaconess. She had a strong Christian faith and attended many seminars and concerts. She was an avid bowler having belonged to the “New Bedford Woman’s Classical League.”
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kevin Perry of New Bedford, Christopher Perry of Dartmouth, Jacob Perry of Acushnet, two daughters Lindelle Perry-Cleveland of South Deerfield, and Robin Pinto of Dartmouth, seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Joseph “Rookie” Vincent and Louis “Buckey” Vincent a well-known boxing coach.
Her Funeral will be held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:00AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at DARTMOUTH 230 Russells Mills Rd. Dartmouth. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00PM. Kindly omit flowers; contributions in her honor may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. Burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
