Born and raised in Webster, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Alice (Dion) Lachance and a proud graduate of Bryant College.
She moved with her husband and five children to Dartmouth in 1965 and has lived there for 53 years. She spent her winters in Sarasota, Florida until recently.
Priscilla worked for many years in the Dartmouth school system before moving to Bristol Community College where she worked until her retirement in 1992. A longtime member of St. Julie Billiart Church, she was instrumental in fundraising for the church construction and initiated their annual fall bazaar. She was a proud founding member of their Widow’s Group and was awarded the Marian Medal for her dedicated service to the church.
Priscilla was a Dartmouth town meeting member and a member of the high school building committee, a Eucharistic minister at St. Luke’s Hospital where she also volunteered in the maternity ward rocking the babies. Priscilla enjoyed traveling, knitting, she was an avid reader, and she loved to be outside - at the beach, in the park or just walking. She loved all children but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored.
