Steven Jean Surprenant

January 23, 1959September 26, 2020

Steven J. Surprenant, age 61, of North Dartmouth passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline M. (Dupuis) Surprenant with whom he shared 39 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, he was the son of Rainey and the late Pauline (Souza) Surprenant.

Steven worked as a Network Technician at Comcast for 42 years. He was planning to retire in October. He was a proud, simple man who always put his family first. Steven was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with the family dogs. His true passion was working and always on the go. He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his children, Steven J. Surprenant Jr. and his wife Katherine of N. Dartmouth and Malissa Norfolk and her husband Adam of Freetown, and a grandson, Joshua Surprenant. Private arrangements are in the care of WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd, Dartmouth, MA 02748.
