Sue was born in New Bedford, a daughter of Beverly (Hopwood) Morrisseau of Dartmouth and the late Maurice Morrisseau, and was a lifelong area resident. She attended St. Julie Billiart Church.
Ms. Vicente was a waitress at Gumbos and John’s Country Kitchen, was a manager at BonWorth Clothing and Brooks Pharmacy.
Suzanne was very active at the Sean Brooke House in New Bedford where she was a treasurer and volunteered many hours at the house. Photography was her passion and she was a member of the Whaling City Camera Club.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Brandon Vicente of Carver; two brothers, Richard Morrisseau and his wife Sue of Florida and Stephen Morrisseau and his wife Karen of Acushnet, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Kathleen DeFrias.
She will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her late dog, Hans.
Her Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10:00 am in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will be private. Arrangements are in care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth. Visit www.waring-sullivan.com.
