Born in New Bedford, a daughter of the late Wilfred Gibeault and Ethel (Morin) Gibeault, she lived in Dartmouth for the last 8 years but spent the majority of her life in New Bedford.
Mrs. Medeiros had worked various jobs in the manufacturing and seafood industries until her retirement.
She loved dancing, playing cards, and bingo, and cherished the time shared with her loving family, especially her grandchildren, and her faithful dog Missy.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Linda Sylvia of NH, Cheryl Frost and her husband Scott of Dartmouth, Richard Montella of New Bedford, Barry Montella and his wife Ellen of Acushnet and Mary Arsenault of Dartmouth; her sister, Beverly Cabral and her husband Richard of New Bedford; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Wilfred Gibeault Jr., and a sister Marie Phaneuf and her husband Leo Phaneuf.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 9 a.m. in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 121 Mt. Pleasant St., New Bedford followed by burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
