My sincere sympathy to Barb’s family. Barb was already an established member of Dartmouth Curling Club when I joined many years ago. She was always welcoming and friendly and a great curler. Barb still made every effort to attend our social functions long after she retired from curling. Barb Hughes

When I first started to curl ( after I retired), Barb was one of my first Skips. She was so patient and kind and certainly knew the game! I posted a few photos of Barb on The Dartmouth Curling Women's Face Book page and many people are saddened by her passing but more than that we are blessed for having her in our lives. Our condolences to the family. I will try to share a few photos that I took of Barb at the Curling club where she served as a president of the Ladies Division and a successful Skip for many years.

Doug, Owen, Gordon and families:

We were shocked and saddened to learn of Barb's death when reading the online version of the Halifax newspaper this morning. Our Deepest Sympathy is extended to all of you.
We enjoyed many good times together in the RV and Twin Seas Club days and also pleasant visits to Dartmouth when you lived on Brigadoon. We weren't aware that you had moved!
Sending Hugs and Condolences from Florida,
Harry, Sandra & family
