

Charlotte Rafuse (Walker) of Dartmouth passed away Mar 18, 2013 due to complications from Alzheimer’s. Born in Sydney July 27, 1940 she was the youngest daughter of Angus and Sarah Walker. Left to mourn her passing are husband of 32 years, Leon, daughters Judy (late Gordon Spidel) and her family, Jancy Deveau and Dyria Spidel Kingston, Rebecca (George) Woodworth and their family Wesley (Alex), Hudson (Jackie) and Charlotte (Mark), Kentville, Tracy (Rob) Hird and Lauren, Hammonds Plains, Angela (Roy) Rafuse-Tahir, Victoria, BC, Tracey (Mike) Rafuse-Freer, Canon City, CO. 5 great grandchildren. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her sisters Muriel (Jim) MacCormick, Coxheath, Lynn (Harold) Clark, Sydney, Alberta (Angus) Ferguson, Sydney, numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte loved her family, Cape Breton (especially Gabarus), jewelry, crafts, crocheting, camping, day trips and picnics with Leon, ice cream, gospel music, a good joke, lobster and anywhere by the water. We would like to thank the amazing staff of the Gammon Lane unit of Bissett Court in Cole Harbour and the caring Home Support Ladies of the Red Cross.
