Clarita Patricia Cane

CANE, Clarita “Clair” Patricia – 90 of Halifax formally of Cole Harbour passed away at 3 Cedar Lakes Northwood Manor on Sunday, September 17, 2017. Born in Halifax on March 17, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Porter and Annie Chisholm. Clair worked at the Halifax County Regional Rehab Centre and sold Avon products for over 40 years. She freely gave her time to many associations in her community which she was recognized with a Nova Scotia Volunteer Award. Clarita is survived by her children; Tim (Shannon Doran), Jody ( Ed Hogan ), Randy (Jayne), Terri, Leah (Vince Beazley) and Tracy (Claude Stymest), sister; Grace Dunden, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Aubrey, Patrick, Michael, sisters Anna Willet and Joan Mombourquette. Visitation will take place from 2 – 3pm with a Celebration of Clarita’s Life at 3pm Saturday, October 7, 2017 in A.L. Mattatall Funeral Home with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northwood Foundation or a charity of choice.
