My name is Brenda Kennedy. David touched my life briefly and profoundly. He came to my place of work to donate for a fundraiser I was hosting for a friend. There was something so special in him that I never forgot. He spoke so eloquently and with such kindness. We stayed friends since that day. He was always encouraging and always had such nice things to say to me on social media. The world is an emptier place without David in it. My deepest and heartfelt condolences I extend to his wife Marita and family, including his furbabies. Rest well David. You will be missed.

My sincerest sympathies to David's friends and family. His easy manner and sense of humour will be sorely missed.

Dear Marita:  I was very shocked to read David's obit in the newspaper recently. Our time together as Board Members for the ECBS was a genuine pleasure.  I fondly remember David's sense of humour/personality, his input/ideas/concerns for our Society and the musicians, and always his unwavering love for music.  My thoughts are with you.

David was truly a wonderful soul.  His humor and  friendly ways will be missed.  I am very sorry for your loss Marita, he truly was one of a kind.  R.I.P  "D". I will miss you.

My condolences to David's family and friends. David was part of our clique back in the day when we were teenagers. I have not seen him for many years but I remember that he was very outgoing. There was never a dull moment when David was around.
