David Garfield Hares

Dave was a great man. He was funny, supportive and always had a way to lift your spirits no matter the time or place. Dave was a workers worker, highly successful and respected in the automotive industry where he made countless, lasting relationships. He enjoyed travel, golf, poker and was always ready for a football season. Though notoriously not a visitor, his door was always open and he loved spending time with the company of his sons, friends and his life partner, Tanya. He will be missed by all.

Dave is survived by his partner, Tanya Dillman; his sons, Brenton and Dustin and their mother Karen Hares; his brothers/cousins, Bruce, Mark, Todd and Tim and his sisters, Janice, Sandra, Debbie and Sue. Along with his parents Dave was also predeceased by George and Eleanor Bennett and Robert and Evelyn Thomson.

A celebration of life will be held for Dave at a later date.
