David Leslie Hartlen

HARTLEN, David Leslie - 78, of Eastern Passage passed away on Saturday June 12,2021. Born on April 22, 1943, son of the late Lewis and Susan Hartlen. David has worked a number of occupations throughout his lifetime. A short term at Imperial Oil. Many years as a heavy truck operator and also was a self employed auto body man. He is survived by sons Greg Hartlen, and Paul (Peggy) Hartlen, daughter Deborah (Keith) Sawlor, sister, MaryEllen (Kevin) Myers, 5 greatly loved grandchildren, Kaila(Keigan)Dion, Brett Sawlor, Taylor Hartlen, Tyler Hartlen, Jewel Hartlen. Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his half brother George. A special thank you to the nurses of Schooners Landing and all involved with David's care and support at the Northwood Ivany House. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service as requested by David. A private family ceremony will take place at a later date.
