David was a fire fighter with the Sackville Fire Department and later became a Fire Inspector with HRM. He retired in 1999 after 24 years of dedicated service.
Throughout the years David enjoyed bowling, darts and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nadene (nee Clee) and son Anthony (Tony) who is currently serving in the military in Alaska.
He is also survived by one brother, Shawn (Pauline) of Nfld, sister in-laws Melanie (Tom) Moore of Timberlea and Shelley (Paul Boudreau), Fall River.
He was predeceased by son Jeffrey (infancy) and brothers, George, James, Daniel and Steven.
No service will be held at this time. Interment will be held at a later date.
