Age 83, of Woodside, passed peacefully on September 6, 2021 in Caritas Residence. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Douglas and Edna Webber. Survived by wife of 61 years, Clara; children, Scott (Kelly), Debbie (George) Robinson and Kim (Bob); grandchildren, Chantel (Steve), Ross (Michelle), Stephanie Robinson (Ali) and Ashley (Justin) Steele; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Thomas; siblings, Alfred (the late Norma), Hughie (Dot) and Sonia (Jim). Predeceased by siblings, Paul and Mary (Lorne). David was a baseball and hockey coach, was a Scout leader and loved camping with his family. David co-founded the South Woodside Minor Baseball Association and was also a member of the Buffalo Club. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held the long weekend in October. Special thanks to the staff of Caritas and ParaMed caregivers for their care and compassion.
