MacDonald Deborah Ann – 54 of Dartmouth, passed away January 24, 2012 quietly in her home.Born in Glace Bay, No.11. She was the daughter of the late Graham and Irene (MacInnis) MacDonald. She was an accomplished Piper in her early years, Deb played for the MacDougall Girls Pipe Band, and travelled all over the country to perform. She worked as a medical secretary for the Braemar Home in Sydney River for many years. Deb is survived by her sisters Cecelia MacIntosh, Anne Marie (Stewart) McIntyre and Jeanette MacPherson, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Irene “Butch” (Duncan) Lawrence, her brothers Graham and Emmerson and her brother in law Sonny. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate her life will be held 7 pm January 30, 2012 in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth, NS. Bishop Nathan Baines officiating.
