Dorothy Bonnie Fraser

Fraser ( Murdock ) Dorothy Bonnie age 86 , Dartmouth, passed away suddenly at home May 29th, 2022. Born in New Glasgow on Sept. 28th, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Katherine ( Bonney) Murdock and Russell Murdock. Bonnie grew up in Merigomish and was educated in Pictou County. Bonnie graduated from the Victorian General School of Nursing Halifax in 1957. Bonnie worked with Dartmouth VON for a number of years; member of Iona Church and was a member of Metro Merry Makers Square Dancers with her husband.

Mom is survived by daughters Katherine ( Al ) Whitlock, Brampton, Ont. and Sharon ( Brian ) Sawler , Fall River, N.S. ; Grandchildren: Rachel ( Scott ) McLean, Toronto, Cameron Whitlock, Brampton, Carly Sawler, Fall River ; Great Grand Daughter Ainsley McLean, Toronto.

Besides her parents, Mom was predeceased by her husband Earl Fraser, brother : Ronald Murdock

Mom cherished her many friendships and she loved to travel with her daughters. We had many great laughs over the years. Mom will be missed dearly.

Funeral will take place at Iona Presbyterian Church, Dartmouth at 2:00pm on Sunday, June 5th with Rev. Dr. Cynthia Chenard officiating. Private committal in Little Harbour Cemetery, Pictou County.
