Dorothy MacAlduff

Age 81, of Dartmouth passed away January 12 at Dartmouth General Hospital. Born February 27th 1940 in Stellarton NS, Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Helen (nee McNutt) & Joe Robertson & siblings Donald, Jack, & Shirley as well as her husband of 56 happy years, Al. Remembering her with love she is survived by sons; Paul (Angela) & Michael, as well as granddaughter Jessica.

Before retiring Dorothy worked at various jobs including Canada Revenue Agency. Having lived for most of her life in North End Dartmouth, Dorothy was active in her community; volunteering for charities, donating to residents of transitional housing & working on the Farrell Hall Society, she even fed stray cats. Dorothy with her loving & nurturing personality made many treasured, life long friends in this community. Having raised 2 sons, she liked playing baseball & bowling as well as going to bingo with a carload of friends & dances with Al.

As per Dorothy’s wishes there will not be any service, however donations in her memory can be made to, Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
