Edwin James Preeper

Preeper, Edwin James - Our family mourn the passing of Ed Preeper age 76, at the QEII hospital on July 30, 2011. Born in Dartmouth he was the son of the Late Wilfred and Gertrude (Kidd) Preeper. Ed retired from the Dockyard as Group Foreman. He enjoyed many hobbies: painting, model trains, bowling and spent many years involved in Minor Hockey.He is survived by his wife Gloria and his two sons; Stephen and Philip both of Dartmouth. Two sisters: Joan Hennebury, Eastern Passage, Betty Martincic, Ontario. Two brothers: Bob (Joyce) Ontario, Tom (Lynn) Dartmouth. Grandchild Jessica Preeper (Dave). Great-grandchildren: Kara and Hailey. Great step-children: Rachael (Ben) Mosher and Kaleigh Fitch. Step-Great grandchildren: Keauna, Elisabeth, Emma and Evangeline. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 10:30 – 11 AM Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at A L Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St., Dartmouth and where Memorial service will be held 11 AM, Rev. Carson Baxter officiating, with reception following. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to: NS Heart and Stroke Foundation, or any charity.
