MACISAAC, Elizabeth Ann (Joyce) - 75, of Judique, passed away peacefully at The Sagewood Continuing Care Home on Friday October 16th, 2020. Born in Kingston, ON, July 22, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Francis Anthony Joyce and Helen Maltida Lambert. Left to cherish her memory, Elizabeth is survived by her husband John “Hudson” Alexander MacIsaac, sons Bob, Mike, Matthew (Laura), grandchildren Jonathan, Madelyn, and brother Mike (Jane - deceased). She is predeceased by her son Donnie, brother Frank (survived by Phyllis), and sister Helen. Elizabeth (or Betty Ann) as many knew her, was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She could always be found in her kitchen and was well known for her flavourful dishes and collection of recipe books. Her passion for food and her imaginative mind inspired her menu which many family and friends were fortunate to enjoy and savour. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time in her flower beds. She looked forward each year to her perennials such as her poppies and bleeding hearts. She was a great softball pitcher, a decorated bowler, and an excellent euchre player. She adored cats and dogs, and was an avid bird watcher. She loved a hot cup of tea. Elizabeth was very proud of her faith and would always find comfort in prayer. A private family funeral service will be held in A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland Street, Dartmouth. Online condolences may be viewed or sent to www.mattatallfuneralhome.com.
