

Her biggest joy in life was helping others; family, friends, strangers and even men’s shelters, her love for her cat and dogs was undeniable. Her doors were always open to help or assist anyone in any way. She enjoyed making crafts, loved to bake and enjoyed a good meal at the Pleasant Street Diner and her love of BINGO was evident along with those BINGO trips.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 48 years, Allan Williams; son, Allan Jr.; daughters, Nicole (Steve) MacIsaac and Nadine Williams (JP Michaud); brother, Greg Herritt (Kathy Drake); sisters, Donna Walters (Freeman) and Diane Bryan (Calvin Lethbridge); sister-in-law, Elizabeth Mccrate; granddaughters, Nicole, Kendall and Casey; great-granddaughter, Sadie as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she was also predeceased by her brother, Phillip.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 2pm from Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club, 192 Prince Albert Road, Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Metro Turning Point Centre, 2170 Amalamek Way, Halifax, NS B3K 2W4.
