I wanted to send my condolences. Gail was a lovely, helpful and hysterical woman. She will be missed.

I am so deeply sorry to hear of Gail's passing.  She worked with my Mom, Mary Olsen at Boyne Clarke for many years, and they were very dear friends to each other.   Gail was a wonderful lady, she was always very good to me, when I would come to BC to visit my Mom, and always had a joke to share, a story to tell, and make me burst out laughing.   I am sad for all of her family as I know her world was all of you.    My sincerest sympathies to the McLaughlin family 

So sorry to hear of Gail's passing. I remember with fondness the good times we shared playing  penny Rummoli together and just being neighbours on Ellen Drive.  Condolences from Michael and Shelly  as well to "Billy", "Jimmy", and "Mikey" on the loss of your mother.

Mike, here is the note I circulated among the people at our firm today and some of the many responses I received.  I am not going to be able to get to the wake, but my thoughts are with you and all of Gail’s family.
Gail was my assistant from the mid-eighties until she retired in the late 90’s.  Her father was a lawyer.  When she was nineteen, he sent her brother off to law school and made her his secretary and office manager.  She ran the family firm, Waterfield and Waterfield, until the death of her brother. BoyneClarke acquired the firm’s files and hired Gail.
 She knew everything about wills and probate and should have gone to law school with her brother.
 She was a friend and will be missed.

You were like a big sister and sharing your gardening skills with your mom you created a beautiful world for our world. Rest in peace. 

I had the opportunity to chat with Gail many times when I visited my mother, Lottie Mitchell.  She certainly had a great sense of humour.  My sincere sympathy to all of her family.

Sorry to hear of Gail's passing. She was a kind soul and a great friend. 

Although I lived near Gail in Dartmouth, I didn't get to know her until I joined the seniors club in Lake Echo. I enjoyed talking to her at the meetings and joining in the fun at many parties there. Bill always used to be Santa at our Christmas and we all enjoyed getting our gifts personally delivered by Santa. It is never easy to lose a loved one. May God bless you during this sad time.

I remember Gail  with kindness and caring.  (from St. Augustine's Anglican Church, Lake Echo).  So sorry for your loss.
