Helen May McAvoy

MCAVOY, Helen May - 93 of Lower Sackville, born to the late Agnes Glazebrook and Herman (Evelyn) Jollimore, passed away June 2, 2017 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor surrounded by her loving family. 'Nanny' always had a kind heart and word, offering a world of wisdom and knowledge to anyone in need of advice. She was our family’s rock and the center of our world. She will be sadly and lovingly missed by all. Helen is previously deceased by husband Vincent, brothers Herman, Norman, Keith and Blaine and sisters Gwen, Dorothy, Betty and Sandra. She is survived by daughters Dianna Keys and Rosemary Lane, and sons Vincent and Gary (Debbie), grandchildren Glen(Rachael), Gary, Brian(Katie), Christy (Luke), Kyle (Savanna), Angie(Ian), Leanne(Troy), Michelle(Aziz), great grandchildren Ethan, Adrienne, Gage, Abbie, Amir, Oliver, brothers Frank (Rae) and Raymond (Liz) Jollimore and several nieces and nephews. Appreciation and thanks for the kindness, care, advice and comfort offered by Dr. Catherine Smith and the nurses of Hants Community Hospital, VON and We Care, will never be forgotten. Funeral Service will be held June 9, at 11AM at St. John Vianney Church, Sackville, reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
