

BORDEN, James Fulton "Jim" - Age 76, of Dartmouth, on July 29, 2015, passed away in Dartmouth General Hospital. Jim was originally from New Glasgow and lived 20 years in Truro. He was a son of the late Edward Marshall Borden and Bernice Viola Borden. Jim enjoyed fishing and could be seen at a harbour shore or lakefront, casting his line. He was an avid reader and a whiz at crossword puzzles; in his younger years, he was employed as a roofer. Jim also liked to partake in libation. Jim is survived by his estranged wife, DellaRose Downey-Borden, Ontario; sons, Henry and James Jr.; daughters, Nada and Lois; grandchildren, L'Oréal, Javonna and Jakeem; great-grandchild, Shirita; older brothers, Charles (Evelyn) and George (Rose); sisters, Marion "Beth", Donna Clyke, Freda Bishop and Theresa. Jim is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law; many nephews, nieces and cousins; and Robert "Rob", who spent a lot of time with him fishing. Jim was predeceased by his ex-wife, Hazel (Elms); his son, Kevin; sisters, Joyce Borden and Laura (Borden) Maxwell.
