Daye (Thornham), Joan Elizabeth – 85, of Dartmouth passed away suddenly but peacefully on February 13, 2015 in Oakwood Terrace. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Berrigan) Thornham. She was a member of Christ Church and choir member for many years. In her earlier years Joan was employed by Trebley Brokerage and Dominion Structural Steel. Joan is survived by brother Harold “Brud” (Faye); sisters Leona (Fred) Strum, Audrey (Art) Hartlen, Gwen Dares, Peggy (Calvin) Dobson; many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by husband Howard and siblings; Robert, Marguerite, Evangeline and Hallie. Cremation by request with an interment at a later date. We acknowledge with great gratitude the loving care provided by A unit, Oakwood Terrace over the past three years.
