The changes brought about by covid prevent me from being there to celebrate your life Jack so I hope these words suffice.
Jack was not one to put on airs and he didn't like a fuss. When you spoke with him you knew deep down that he was gentle and open. I will miss Jack's warm uplifting smile and his genuine love of life. I've known Jack for well over 60 years and during that time it was always a pleasure to see him, to talk, laugh and joke with him. I will miss those all too rare moments together. In the fall of 1965 Jack picked me up at the school in Dartmouth where I lived at the time to spend the week-end with him and Kathy. I was 15 at the time but families spread out over the years and we had not seen each other since my childhood. What stood out was his smile and his desire to put me at ease. Fare well on your next adventure Jack and don't lose that smile.
