We the family of John MacDonald, Dartmouth, formerly of Sydney Mines announce his passing on November 4, 2015 in the QEII Hospital. He was the son of Thomas and Jenny (Cameron) MacDonald of Sydney Mines. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marjorie (Burgoyne) of Dartmouth, formerly of Sydney Mines; his daughter Heather (Charles) Pottle; grandsons Robert (Selina), David (Megan); granddaughter Stephanie, all of Dartmouth and his sister Raylene Kempt, Sydney Mines. He is predeceased by siblings Mary, Florence, Lydia, Dan and Cecil. Cremation has taken place and no service or visitation by request.
